Connect Git (optional)

Clone a Git repository into your LOCAL workspace from the desktop workspace UI.

Prerequisites

• A LOCAL workspace is open in the desktop Workspace App.
• You have a GitHub (or compatible) credential stored in SecurePass, or you can add one when prompted.

Steps

1. In the file-tree toolbar, choose Clone (GitHub icon).
2. Paste the repository URL in Clone Git Repository.
3. Choose Clone Repository.
4. If you are not already authenticated, the product asks you to Select a Git credential from SecurePass.
5. Pick the credential in Choose GitHub credential from SecurePass, then complete the clone.
