LOCAL workspace or Git connect
Create LOCAL workspace fails
- Confirm you are in the desktop Workspace App (not only a browser tab without the local agent).
- Choose Local Workspace (Filesystem) — not Remote — when creating.
- Browse an existing base folder you can write to, then Create.
- Keep the desktop app open during create.
- Retry after quitting/relaunching desktop if the local agent was unavailable.
Clone / Git connect fails
- Confirm a LOCAL workspace is active.
- When prompted, pick a GitHub credential from SecurePass (do not paste secrets into unrelated fields).
- Confirm the credential is valid on GitHub and has access to the repository.
- Retry clone after re-selecting the credential.
- If the product reports organization or credential errors, switch to the correct Account and try again, then contact support.
